When a community is facing unclean drinking water conditions, flooding or devastation from a natural disaster, we team up with Oskar Blues Brewery, Ball Corporation and the Ball Foundation to can and distribute water for families in need. To date, over 1.25 million cans of clean water have been packaged and distributed throughout the US and Puerto Rico.
ColoRADo Flood Relief
Devastating floods hit Lyons and Longmont ColoRADo in 2013. So, Can’d Aid rallied to dig neighbors out and keep small businesses from closing. In total nearly $750K was raised and granted to 425 families and small businesses in need.
South Carolina Flood Relief
Severe flooding hit the coast of South Carolina in October 2015. So, Can’d Aid teamed up with Oskar Blues Brewery and canned over 3,800 cases of water for those in need. In the weeks following, Can’d Aid loaded up a bus of Oskar Blues employees, spent a weekend mucking and gutting houses and donated $20K to help with rebuilding efforts.
In response to drinking water crisis, we teamed up with Oskar Blues Brewery and Ball Corp. to can and distribute 250,000 cans of clean water to families in need.
Baton Rouge, LA Flooding
In 2016, heavy rains flooded countless homes in Baton Rouge. Leaving many families who lost everything. So, volunteers helped rip out dry wall and muck and gut destroyed homes.
Hurricanes Harvey, Irma and Maria
The 2017 hurricane season wrought unprecedented damage throughout the Gulf Shores and Caribbean. In response, 527,000 cans of drinking water and pallets of food were shipped to communities in Texas, Florida and Puerto Rico. In addition, volunteers jumped in and helped muck + gut flood damaged homes for families in need.
