Fantastic Field Trip for Jazzmanian Devils
Jazzmanian Devils Open for steep canyon rangers at the egg
What a memorable musical night!! The City School District of Albany High School Jazzmanian Devils Advanced Jazz Ensemble opened for Can’d Aid Tunes Ambassador and Grammy Award-winning bluegrass group Steep Canyon Rangers at The Egg’s Swyer Theatre on September 26!
Backstage, SCR band members shared some tunes and advice with these emerging musicians.
We are proud to support this fantastic student field trip through our Music Teacher Grants in collaboration with Albany Friends of Music, The Egg, and Albany Fund for Education – emphasizing the importance of creating authentic experiences for students to amplify their skills and confidence through real-world, hands-on opportunities.
