After years of performing across the country, Arthur Hancock and Chris Shouse have built a rich legacy in bluegrass music. Both are alumni of acclaimed bands including The Wooks, The 23 String Band, and Wolfpen Branch, and now continue their musical journey together—honoring their Kentucky roots alongside some of the state’s finest musicians.

Hancock & Shouse know firsthand how music can shape a life. As proud Tunes Ambassadors, they’re helping create opportunities for young people to discover that same connection through Instruments for Change.

Every child deserves the chance to pick up an instrument, learn from a great teacher, and experience the confidence and connection that comes from making music. Through Instruments for Change, Can’d Aid provides new instruments, Music Teacher Grants, and strengthens school music programs in under-served communities across the country.
