Can’d Aid has teamed up with Raasin in the Sun and artist Ami Plasse of Gonzo Viz to bring the Govalle neighborhood together to create a community mural on Bolm Rd. Together, we will create an art piece that represents the power of giving back in your community, the value of taking care of our neighbors and our planet, and the importance of sustainable living. ♻️
All skill levels and ages are welcome, and no artistic experience is necessary. We will supply all necessary tools. Just come ready to jump in and yield a paintbrush!

Raasin in the Sun is a Cultural Arts and Environmental nonprofit featuring a powerful Mural Arts program serving to unite, restore, and inspire communities throughout Austin Texas and beyond.
Amitai (ahh-mee-tie) Plasse, aka Ami – is a visual and motion artist born and raised in New York City. A 1995 graduate of Parsons School of Design with a BFA in Illustration, he has called Austin home since 2011.
