In collaboration with Nashville’s Trap Garden, Can’d Aid, and the National Museum of African American Music, with support from local and State policymakers and dozens of volunteers– Amazon is thrilled to present the second annual Hip Hop Hooray Community Service Day!

As communities around world celebrate, uplift and honor Hip Hop culture, we’re inspired by the first back-to-school Hip Hop event held on August 11, 1973. On that day Hip Hop was born. 50 years later, the party with a purpose continues!

Join us on August 12, 2023 to help build bikes, stuff reusable school supply totes, and help paint a giant mural commissioned by famed local artist Woke3, honoring 50 years of Hip Hop: a dynamic, vibrant  cultural phenomenon. As a bonus, the National Museum of African American Music will be offering free admission on Friday, August 11th and Saturday, August 12th.
