Heil Valley Ranch Fence Building Project

Sat. 5/7 | 9am-1pm | Heil Valley Ranch | 257 Geer Canyon Road, Boulder, CO 80302

Show Mama Earth some love! Join Can’d Aid and Boulder County Open Space in an effort to replace and build fencing in Heil Valley Ranch.

Overview: In October 2020, the Cal-Wood Fire burned over 4,000 acres at Heil Valley Ranch. A good portion of the property is still closed to the public due to damaged infrastructure and safety concerns. To help speed up the re-opening of the park, multiple recovery efforts are underway including the replacement of several wooden fences that were consumed during the fire. We will use hand tools and pre-cut logs to rebuild these fences. This is a great opportunity to get into the fire area and see some of the impacts. All tools and safety equipment will be provided.

We will meet at Heil Valley Ranch (257 Geer Canyon Road) between 8:45-9:00am and be shuttled a short distance to the work site.

Spots are limited. Sign up below to help provide much-needed wildfire restoration and to have a hand in making a massive difference in Heil Valley Ranch!

A HUGE thank you to Boulder County Open Space for making this project possible!
