Truck Stop Goers Help Assemble Art Kits for Foster Kids

It was a hot and sunny 4th of July and many local Denverites spent their holiday seeking out gastronomical delights at Two Part’s Truck Stop Rally at Stanley Marketplace. As the festival’s charitable partner, the Can’d Aid Foundation set up an art kit assembly station. Throughout the day, attendees helped pack 100 art kits full of crayons, drawing pads, markers, paint and clay for children recently removed from their home for abuse or neglect. Many helpers wrote notes of love and encouragement on the bags and were eager to spend their holiday helping spread do-goodery for youth in the city. In all, 100 art kits were donated to Denver Human Services to support children in need.
