Help Build Tannery Skate Park
Fundraising is complete, the City of Brevard has approved plans and its time to build Tannery Skate Park! This public park will feature two wooden, above ground half-pipes. One beginner’s ramp will measure 40 x 50 feet reaching between four and six feet in height. The advanced/pro style ramp, will reach upwards of 13 feet – creating a turnkey venue for events and competitions.
Now, we need you to help build the ramps! We’ll provide the tools and constructional oversight (professional builders will be onsite). Just come ready to roll up your sleeves and lend a hand.
There will be 3 work days | 8am-3pm | Register today to volunteer!
WORK DAY 1: March 23rd
WORK DAY 2: March 30th
WORK DAY 3: April 6th
* No professional experience necessary. The work will be fairly labor intensive, though, so please consider if this volunteer opportunity will be a good fit.
* Wear closed toed shoes and durable clothing. Bring water and sunscreen.
* Lunch provided with a free beer on us at Oskar Blues to follow!
If you are unable to volunteer for the entire 8am-3pm time slot, please let us know so that we can plan accordingly.
